We are a small family farm working towards preserving the lifestyle of 3 generations before us. Our farm is a beautiful place, with a 100 year old farmhouse built near old oak woods with cross country ski trails, large hayfields and pasture acres for quarter horses. We are in a transition, growing organically although we are not certified organic but use sustainable & organic methods to build our soils through cover crops and composting. We grow with organic seed for all our vegetables.

We currently have two greenhouses that we plan to use as high tunnels for season extension in growing our vegetables and salad greens. We used low tunnel growing this spring for our cool weather greens and they provided enough spinach, arugula and mesclun for two Winter Markets this year.

These are the same low tunnels in October,  November and then in February's snowstorm!  There is still arugula, spinach, mizuna and beets living under them!  They are cozy in all that insulation! Can you believe all that snow?
